koi types

I have some koi that I don't know what 'category' they fit into. If I post a picture, can somebody tell me what they are?

Rick,

This guy is the one I am wondering about.  He doesn't really have the pinecone effects of a Matsuba.  He is almost a neon color.

Thanks

Carolyn

Oooh post more pictures! I have all muts that probably don't fit types. Or do all koi, no matter their pedigree fit into a type?

One more.  I am assuming this guy is a type of matsuba, although his markings are caramel or light orange on white.

Thanks again,
Carolyn

I don't mean to be a buzzkill, but we'd probably be posting more if you didn't keep interrupting to say that we need more people. It kind of implies that we aren't good enough. Just my thoughts, I'm not going anywhere, and I don't mean to be rude.

I'd love to see more pictures of your koi Carolyn. What are the top 3 things you should look for in any type of koi to determine high quality? I know sharpness of color edge is one, right?
